RIKEN personnel who are 40 years of age or over are enrolled in the long-term care insurance program.This system provides nursing services for insured persons who are:

1. Aged 65 or over, require nursing care services, and have been approved for these services.*

2. Between 40 and 64 years old, have health insurance coverage, and have been approved for necessary long-term care due to conditions associated with aging-related diseases.

Premium

You share of the premium for your health and dental insurance will be automatically deducted from your monthly salary. Your employer will also pay a portion of the premium. The amount deducted depends on your salary.

*Premiums for insured persons aged 65 or over are collected by the insured person's residential municipality.
