The typhoon season is generally from July to September. You will hear advance information about approaching typhoons on the TV, radio, and the internet, including their intensity and when and where they are expected to arrive. Public transport, particularly planes and trains, may be affected. When a typhoon warning is issued, bring small things like pot plants inside your apartment, and secure any loose objects that might blow away. |
