Legal Matters PDF Print E-mail
If you have a legal problem you are strongly advised to consult a Japanese lawyer who speaks your language. Most lawyers can give general advice, but some specialize in handling foreign clients.

Many local governments arrange free legal consultation for residents at their office, in cooperation with the local Bar Association. For details contact your city office or local government office. For other counseling services and advice in foreign languages, see the directory for your campus at the end of this book.
